What We Do
ADVOCACY
The Foundation actively advocates for the Conrad Public Library and its essential services - ensuring it remains a vital resource in Pondera County. We work with local leaders and community members to promote the importance of continued funding through tax levies, helping to secure the critical support needed for the library to meet the needs of the community.
FUNDED PROJECTS
The Foundation is proud to support and enhance library programs and services that go beyond what local taxpayer funding can provide. Below are just a few of the recent programs and services funded by the Foundation - made possible through the generosity of our donors and local grant initiatives.

-
Dolly Parton Imagination Library: Funded by a 3 Rivers Communications Grant, the Foundation pays for half of the cost = $350/month (the other half is paid for by Treasure State Foundation). On average, about 150 kids from Conrad, Ledger, & Dupuyer participate in this program. view more info
-
Summer Reading: Funded by a Town Pump Charitable Foundation Grant, we provide materials and prizes for this annual program. view more info

ENDOWMENT FUND
The Foundation’s Endowment Fund is a long-term investment in the future of the Conrad Public Library. Gifts to the Endowment are carefully invested and only the spendable earnings may be used to support approved projects - ensuring that every contribution makes a lasting impact for generations to come. As the fund grows, so does its ability to provide steady, reliable support for library projects in the community.
Our current goal is to grow the Endowment Fund’s principal (restricted) balance to $100,000. Reaching this milestone will significantly strengthen the long-term sustainability of privately-funded library programs and services. To learn more about how you can help us reach this goal, please visit our Campaign page.

"A library outranks any other one thing a community can do to benefit its people.
It is a never failing spring in the desert."
